Businesses rely on data and technology to run daily operations, manage information, make decisions, communicate with stakeholders and market themselves to potential clients and employees. Skilled IT professionals are in high demand. If you decide to study computer information systems at Western Michigan University, you will learn the critical skills and knowledge necessary to be a successful IT professional. Your studies will focus on design, development, management and use of computer-based information systems.
Ninety-one percent of computer information systems graduates are employed or in graduate school within three months of graduation.
As a computer information systems student at WMU, you will be eligible to apply for scholarships available through the Department of Business Information Systems. To qualify, you will submit an online application that outlines your qualities as a student.
