Western Michigan University offers a standard major and minor in political science as well as concentrations in American public policy, public law, international and comparative politics, and secondary education. These majors may appeal to you if you have a career interest in politics and government, business, education or law.
Beyond the classroom
As a political science student at WMU, you will have the opportunity to participate regularly in special programs and student organizations such as Mock Trial, the Pre-Law Society, College Republicans and College Democrats. WMU’s Institute of Government and Politics plans lectures and events that may also be of interest to you.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 A first-year applicant is a student who is applying for admission and who has not attempted or earned any college credit after graduating from high school (or earned equivalent). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) A minimum score of 61 iBT is required. Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) A minimum score of 69 is required. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Module. A minimum score of 6.0 is required. Pearson Test of English Academic Module. A minimum score of 45 is required.
