The Business Leadership Building reflects our commitment to preparing future business leaders by promoting interaction among students, faculty and industry leaders. The facility which has Gold-level LEED certification for sustainability contains 24 classrooms, team study rooms and a state-of-theatre computer lab. This building distinguishes us as a leader in business education.
During most of your freshman and sophomore semesters, you’ll work to complete the university’s core curriculum (42 credit hours) and the college’s pre-business requirements (15 to 24 credit hours). The remaining coursework is divided into:
- 24 credit hours of business foundation courses
- 18 credit hours of organizational behavior and human resource management courses
- 12 credit hours of approved supporting courses
You can help an organization develop a competitive advantage by attracting, hiring and retaining qualified, productive employees. Human resource professionals also work closely with senior management to set, develop and implement workplace policies.
In addition to traditional human resource positions in managing benefits and payroll, other career options include:
- Compensation manager
- Education or training manager
