What we offer
In the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences, we will provide you with the background needed to make confident, successful decisions in today's competitive marketplace. You will gain an understanding of accounting, manufacturing, finance, management, supply chain management, marketing and information technology through a comprehensive curriculum.
Our faculty members are outstanding teachers and renowned researchers. They are recognized as thought leaders in the field of business analytics and their scholarly works have been published in respected journals such as Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences, The American Statistician and Communications in Statistics. To ensure your academic success, our department offers regularly scheduled tutoring sessions during the fall and spring semesters.
Networking opportunities are available through the student chapter of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), the Association for Information Systems student chapter and the Professional Leadership Program. The PLP works with corporate partners in the region to give you the skills needed to be competitive in the workforce.
