The BS with an Option in Community Development provides you the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in or dealing with the public sector. You will learn best practices regarding leadership, communications, research, diversity, group dynamics, economics, human resources, policy-making, and strategic planning within a community setting.
Earn the credentials necessary to effectively lead at the local, state, and federal levels of civil service, public office, and more with this concentration. You will learn the legislative and judicial processes, fiscal management, how to assess community needs, focus support toward shared visions, and develop sustainable communities.
