It’s time to take your nursing skills to the next level.
CMU’s online RN-to-BSN program builds on your nursing foundation and broadens your expertise in nursing leadership, advanced health assessment, culture and diversity in patient care, and the overarching concepts of global and population health.
The program is taught by faculty who are experienced nurses and teachers. They know the dedication and perseverance it takes to be a nurse and go back to school at the same time. As a result, they have built extraordinary flexibility into CMU’s program to accommodate your commitments and help you manage your personal and professional well-being. Their goal is to see you succeed.
American Association of College of Nursing research indicates nurses with a BSN have better patient outcomes and are offered positions of increasing leadership because of their skills in critical thinking, managing team members, case management and health promotion.
Many hospitals and health systems only hire nurses with a BSN or those currently enrolled in a RN-to-BSN program. Some require current RNs to complete their bachelor’s degree within certain time periods; some offer incentives for doing this.
Earning your BSN adds the credentials needed for higher salaries and makes you eligible for a wider variety of positions.

English language requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (minimum score of 550 PBT, 213 CBT, or 79 IBT), International English Language Testing System (minimum score of 6.5), Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (minimum score of 77), Pearson Test of English (minimum score of 53), ELS Language Center Program: Completion of Level 112.
