The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree provides professional preparation for students aspiring to careers in business, industry and government. This major, with an applied business communication concentration, targets the knowledge, skills and abilities employers seek most: communication, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking.
This AACSB-accredited program prepares you with a solid business background and communication skills crucial to effective workplace communication: team building, intercultural communication and brand-defining uses of social and digital media. You’ll build these essential skills throughout the program with business-relevant assignments and projects that prepare you for workplace success.
The online format allows you to complete the program at your own pace, taking as many courses per eight-week term as your schedule allows. The only exceptions are the core courses MKT 304, MGT 303 and FIN 302 that are taken together in one semester. Students work on one project for all three courses. Choosing a real company, they work as a group to develop a growth plan for the company. This unique, immersive experience allows you to experience how these three functional areas all work together to understand the strengths and constraints firms experience when pursuing new strategies.

English language requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (minimum score of 550 PBT, 213 CBT, or 79 IBT), International English Language Testing System (minimum score of 6.5), Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (minimum score of 77), Pearson Test of English (minimum score of 53), ELS Language Center Program: Completion of Level 112.
