If you’d like to work and lead in a hotel, restaurant, resort or club setting, and CMU’S hospitality services program is for you. A career in hospitality comes with a flexible schedule and travel opportunities in diverse environments. Our program will prepare you for management positions with organizations such as Hyatt, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, Hilton, Red Lobster and Buffalo Wild Wings, to name a few.
The HSA program goal is to provide undergraduate students with a sound business background and a specific orientation toward the management of lodging operations, restaurants, clubs, casinos, and tourism. Course work includes accounting, finance, management, marketing, and facility operations as they relate to the hospitality industries. Students also gain practical experience via internships.
The largest industry, and one of the world's fastest growing, is that of travel and tourism. The hospitality services administration program prepares students for business management careers in the many segments of this industry, such as lodging, food service, gaming, and travel/tourism. u200b

English language requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (minimum score of 550 PBT, 213 CBT, or 79 IBT), International English Language Testing System (minimum score of 6.5), Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (minimum score of 77), Pearson Test of English (minimum score of 53), ELS Language Center Program: Completion of Level 112.
