在這里學(xué)什么?
CMU has Michigan’s top-ranked fashion merchandising and design program. Now with two online concentrations, students without access to our main campus can join this $1.2 trillion global industry with more than $250 billion spent annually in the United States.
Employers are looking for creative graduates who are skilled in working with the industry’s technologies. Are you ready to translate your acute fashion sense into a great job in the fashion industry?
Challenging core courses The latest technologies including CAD, 3-D printing and product lifecycle management software Exciting, fast-paced, hands-on projects Final portfolio of your work
The BAA degree requires both a major and a minor. CMU currently offers these minors online: Athletic Coaching, Geography, Political Science, and Psychology. More are available through transfer credits. Minors often allow you to make the best use of credits you have already earned. Speak to an advisor to see if the BAA or BS (does not require a minor) is the best choice for you.
Visual Merchandising
Visual merchandisers use art and science in the merchandising process to create compelling presentations that influence consumer purchase decisions. The work of art directors, display artists, stylists and event planners is evident in three-dimensional displays, store windows, lighting, special effects, websites and trade shows. This concentration includes strategies and techniques for display, branding and advertising in retail and virtual environments.
