Program Description
In CMU’s entrepreneurship program, students like you gain start-up skills, develop business models and dive into new endeavours. Investors, alumni, faculty members and entrepreneurs from across Michigan will mentor you as you launch your own unique venture. You can even earn capital for your start-up business by participating in the New Venture Competition. Our curriculum pairs easily with many other majors, giving you endless learning and career opportunities.
Student Learning Objectives Students completing the ENT Major should be able to demonstrate:
- An understanding of business fundamentals, core entrepreneurship concepts, and resources in the entrepreneurial ecosystem
- An entrepreneurial mindset by identifying consumer problems and proposing innovative and viable solutions
- Effectiveness in utilizing technology tools as an entrepreneur
- Effective oral and written communication skills by presenting ideas for new ventures

為來自中國的學生設計 Students must have attended all secondary and post-secondary institutions. English language requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (minimum score of 550 PBT, 213 CBT, or 79 IBT), International English Language Testing System (minimum score of 6.5), Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (minimum score of 77), Pearson Test of English (minimum score of 53), ELS Language Center Program: Completion of Level 112.
