Wireless communications systems are the threads that connect people and devices at home, work and play, making everything from cellphone calls to online meetings to navigating the road possible. In this certificate program, you’ll learn about the various types of wireless communications systems, digital signal processing and ubiquitous computing, or the way in which computing devices can be incorporated into the everyday fabric of our lives. You’ll also be introduced to the general tools of scientific research and technical development.
A graduate certificate in wireless communications systems from UNH will give you in-demand skills to advance in a wide range of fields, including wireless communications, mobile communications, antenna design, signal processing and commutation system design. You’ll earn your certificate in as few as 12 months, with the flexibility to start your coursework in the spring or fall.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Wireless communication systems play a central role in today’s technological ecosystem. They connect people and devices in diverse environments, from homes, to businesses, to roads, to battlefields. This certificate program will provide students with the fundamental concepts necessary to understand and work with various aspects of wireless communication systems, from antennas, to modeling electromagnetic propagation, to signal processing, to multiple-xadantenna communications.
Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Degrees in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, related engineering field preferred.
