在這里學(xué)什么?
The B.S. in Hotel and Hospitality Management degree program prepares you to manage people, operations, and investments in food service, events, and hotels. It provides industry specific knowledge on top of a solid foundation of business and economics. There are two electives tracks for students seeking careers in operations or hotel management, or students can select their own set of electives.
Hospitality management is the application of management concepts in the areas of accommodation, dining and guest services. This includes everything from the largest hotel or casino to the smallest cafe. Across all of these types of businesses the primary goal of hospitality management remains the same: to ensure each and every guest enjoys the same flawless experience from start to finish. There are a wide range of functions and responsibilities within hospitality management needed to ensure the best possible guest experience: food and beverage management, events management, club management, casino management, hotel revenue management, hotel investment management, human resource management, marketing and sales management, and financial management.
UNH offers a small college feel with the resources and opportunities of a research university. The Paul College of Business & Economics is accredited by AACSB (top 10 percent of business schools worldwide) and is ranked No. 36 among U.S. public business schools. This means hospitality management students have world-class business courses in addition to industry-specific courses designed with the help of leading professionals. We have a large and active alumni base who will help you build your professional network. You’ll complete a minimum of 400 hours of on-the-job, paid work experience in the hospitality industry, much of it through an internship.
