Electrical and electronic engineering are the foundation of 21st century innovations: from digital communications to robotics systems, from sustainable energy to smart environments. With the MSc Electrical and Electronic Engineering from GCU, you'll develop the skills to work at the forefront of these exciting fields. IET accreditation has been applied for and we are awaiting the accreditation outcome. Candidates must hold a CEng accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate first degree to comply with full CEng registration requirements.
The curriculum offers a comprehensive exploration of electrical and electronic engineering, with particular emphasis on today's fast-growing fields of energy engineering and renewable technologies.

Accreditation
This masters degree course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for further learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Please note, you must hold a CEng accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate degree, as well as the MSc, in order to comply with full CEng registration requirements.
Assessment methods
Students will be assessed via a combination of examinations, coursework, presentations,case study analysis, reports and the final dissertation.
