The IU School of Education at IUPUI offers a "merged" certification program and masters program in special education at the post-baccalaureate level. Students who complete the certification courses receive certification in both "mild" and "intense" interventions, as established by the Indiana Professional Standards Board. Candidates must already be licensed to teach elementary or secondary education.
When you think about getting a degree from the IU School of Education, you probably imagine yourself in a K–12 classroom, teaching students what they need to know to succeed in life.
Almost every state is facing a teaching shortage, particularly in special education, English as a second language, and STEM fields.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have received a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in the United States or another country by the time you enroll at IUPUI. English Language Requirement: TOEFL (iBT) – 79; IELTS Overall Band Score: 6.5; IUPUI Program for Intensive English (PIE) score Level 7.
