This program, which involves completing a creative thesis, allows you to balance academic course work in English with the serious study of creative writing.

Critical reading skills are crucial in any job, and writing skills are in demand from employers in many fields. Our degree will allow you to balance academic coursework in English with the serious study of creative writing.
You’ll be offered instruction from excellent faculty in a collaborative and diverse atmosphere. Creative writing students have the opportunity to work in various editorial roles with the university’s literary magazine and to read their work at several area venues.

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants must have earned a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 out of a 4.0 scale for their bachelor’s degree to be considered for regular admission. Admitted students are expected to have undergraduate educational experiences, including general education studies, that are similar to those required for a baccalaureate at Northern Arizona University. English proficiency scores for most programs are: 80 (TOEFL iBT) or 6.5 (IELTS).
