The Master of Arts in English - Rhetoric, Writing, and Digital Media Studies provides a curriculum that will prepare you to participate and advance current knowledge and practices in rhetoric, writing pedagogy, and composition theory and practice, and to use your understanding of research methodologies and writing skills in your academic writing, workplace writing, and information development. The program focuses on providing quality instruction for students who are interested in language, literacy, and learning in contemporary society; who wish to teach writing or who teach in K-12, college, or specialized settings; and who intend to focus on community or workplace literacy programs.? The program in Rhetoric, Writing and Digital Media Studies allows students to follow a clearly articulated plan that provides for structure within a flexible framework, and that provides the skills necessary for succeeding in competitive work environments.

Our program in Rhetoric, Writing, and Digital Media Studies prepares you for successful careers as educators, writers, and communicators. We provide you with skills in written and digital communication, composition studies, and literacy studies that will make you a better writer as well as a better teacher of writing. You will learn to analyze documents and produce relevant and practical projects geared towards your career goals. In this program, you will be part of a collaborative and engaging community of students and teachers dedicated to your success.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have earned a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 out of a 4.0 scale for their bachelor’s degree to be considered for regular admission. Admitted students are expected to have undergraduate educational experiences, including general education studies, that are similar to those required for a baccalaureate at Northern Arizona University. English proficiency scores for most programs are: 80 (TOEFL iBT) or 6.5 (IELTS).
