Offered jointly with the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, this dual degree gives clinical skills and a broader understanding of the human concerns in legal interventions to practicing lawyers. Students in this program gain a psychological and social perspectives that come into play when representing and advocating for children, families, women, and the elderly.

Curriculum
MSW/JD Dual-Degree Program
The MSW/JD combines courses offered by the School of Law's JD program with courses offered by the School of Social Work's MSW program. In the School of Social Work, students are required to complete all foundation courses. In addition, advanced practice courses are taken according to specialization area and electives.

Fieldwork Requirements
The MSW program requires completion of 60 credit hours which includes two internships totaling 1,200 hours. The first internship is 480 hours and the second internship is 720 hours.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The Graduate School welcomes applications from international students who have completed a four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or its equivalent. TOEFL, a minimum score of 79 on the iBT or a 550 on the written test is required. IELTS, a minimum score of 6.0 is required. PTE, a minimum score of 53 is required.
