For registered dietitians who want to be leaders in health care administration.
Loyola University Chicago offers a unique opportunity to complete a Master of Science degree in Dietetics while simultaneously completing the Dietetic Internship. The program offers a health care administration focus, preparing professional, registered dietitians to design and implement systems that lead to desired health outcomes.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
The Loyola Master of Science in Dietetics program graduated its first class in 1997 and is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). Faculty and preceptors are experts in their fields and hold national certifications in their areas of specialization. Most courses for the Master of Science in Dietetics are online or are provided in a hybrid format.
Upon graduation with a Master of Science degree in Dietetics from Loyola, you will possess the following knowledge, skills, and professional values necessary to take the registration exam for dietitians and work in the nutrition field:
KNOWLEDGE
Building on your knowledge as a registered dietitian, the Dietetics program introduces theories, models, and methods that are used to improve health care.
SKILLS
You will learn to redesign health care processes, use information technology, develop effective health care teams, coordinate care, and enact performance and outcome measurements, all essential methods of performance improvement in health care administration.
PROFESSIONAL VALUES
This program promotes ethical decision-making, social justice, and advocacy for underserved populations, consistent with Loyola's Jesuit traditions.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The Graduate School welcomes applications from international students who have completed a four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or its equivalent. TOEFL, a minimum score of 79 on the iBT or a 550 on the written test is required. IELTS, a minimum score of 6.0 is required. PTE, a minimum score of 53 is required.
