The BSEd in Special Education prepares full-time undergraduate teacher-education candidates seeking a bachelor's degree in education and licensure as an LBSI (K–12) teacher. A secondary outcome is for these candidates to be certified as elementary teachers.
The program trains candidates to work with students with special needs, ages 3–21, across the curriculum and in inclusive classroom settings.
