Chemistry majors with Junior-level standing who are on track to complete both semesters of physical chemistry and physical chemistry laboratory by the end of their third year are invited to apply for the 5-year BS/MS program. Eligible students must have an overall GPA of 3.3 and a 3.5 GPA in their Chemistry major. Students may apply online and must submit three letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and a copy of their transcripts. GRE scores are not required for the BS/MS application.
Admitted applicants will complete the BS degree during Senior year, and officially begin the Graduate program during the 5th. Two courses completed during Senior year are to be taken at 400-level, and will count towards both the BS and MS requirements. On the 5th year, six graduate courses will be taken at 400-level. Altogether, successful completion of the BS/MS will result in 24.0 hours of graduate coursework.
