The Master of Arts in Instructional Technology prepares professionals to address learning and performance problems by integrating technology into the design, development and evaluation of learning environments. The program is flexible and will appeal to professionals working in education or workplace training.
This 30-credit-hour program may be completed in as little as two years of part-time study. You will learn from UA faculty credentialed in instructional technology who are well-versed in the topics and trends of the field.
Choose from two strands:
- Technology for Teaching and Learning - ideal for individuals pursuing positions in P-12 schools, colleges and universities
- Instructional Technology for the Workplace - ideal for individuals pursuing positions in instructional design and corporate training.
The MA in Instructional Technology program requires the completion of 30 credit hours. With adviser approval, students select courses and electives that give them the opportunity to focus on areas of interest in business or education.

English Language Requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): The minimum score for admission to a degree program or for non-degree admission is 79 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT). International English Language Testing System (IELTS): The minimum score for admission to a degree program or for non-degree admission is 6.5. Pearson Test of English (PTE): The minimum score of admission to a degree program or for non-degree admission is 59.
