The University of Alabama's Capstone College of Nursing understands the busy lifestyle of working nurses like you, so we've designed this online program to make advancing your education affordable and attainable. The program is fully accredited and offers working nurses the opportunity to be among those who call themselves graduates of The University of Alabama.
The RN to BSN program of study is specifically designed for the registered nurse who holds an associate degree or diploma in nursing and interested in earning a bachelor's degree. After completing courses to meet university core curriculum requirements, students enroll in 25 credit hours of nursing courses
The RN to BSN program of study provides registered nurses who hold an associate's degree or diploma in nursing to pursue an advanced degree in a convenient online format. Students may complete the core curriculum courses, with the exception of the sciences, online at The University of Alabama. The required nursing courses are also offered online. The online format makes it convenient for working students. Faculty from UA's Capstone College of Nursing bring their expertise and experience into the classroom to provide students with the training they need to be successful health care providers.
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at The University of Alabama is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
