Effective leadership and management do not happen by chance. This practice-related course will help you develop the knowledge, skills and qualities to be an effective health care leader. This leadership and management course is designed to give you the confidence to try new and creative approaches to the workplace, deal with complex leadership situations and provide effective patient and service outcomes.
The course is aimed at all health care professionals including nurses, midwives, doctors, physiotherapists, radiographers and health care scientists who want to develop the knowledge, skills and qualities to be an effective health care leader.
The full course runs full-time or part-time over one year giving you the chance to exit with the following awards:
Full-time:
- Postgraduate Diploma: four modules over eight months
- Masters: four modules plus a dissertation over one year
Part-time:
- Postgraduate Diploma: four modules over two years
- Masters: four modules plus a dissertation over three years
You will:

- Transform patient and service outcomes at a local level
- Understand your organisation and become an effective leader

WHAT YOUNEED TO KNOW
APPLICANT PROFILE
This practice-related, master's course is aimed at all health care professionals including nurses, midwives, doctors, physiotherapists, radiographers and health care scientists who want to develop the knowledge, skills and qualities to be an effective health care leader.
Typically, an applicant is normally a qualified health care professional currently working in middle management or wanting to move up to middle/senior management within or outside of the current organisation. Some applicants are already managers and want the formal qualification to support the role they are already doing.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Applicants who have completed a bachelor’s degree from a reputable Chinese university with a GPA of 2.4/4.0 or a final grade of 60% or above will be considered for postgraduate study. Applicants who have completed a higher education self study graduation certificate (zi’kao) with a final grade of 70% or above, and at least two years of relevant work experience, will be considered for postgraduate study. We require IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.
