Learn how to make an important contribution to the next generation of ideas with a Mathematics degree at Salford.**Our three-year BSc (Hons) Mathematics degree is designed to take you to an advanced level. Course modules blend applied methods with cutting-edge themes, like nanotechnology, economic stability and artificial intelligence. You’ll be encouraged to identify, evaluate and solve real-world problems. You’ll strengthen your knowledge of key principles such as linear algebra, calculus and probability. You’ll learn about mathematical modelling, with relevance to engineering and computing. You'll solve business and industrial mathematics real-world problems.Learning takes places in our Peel Park campus, minutes from bustling Manchester. We place emphasis on your development by using small group teaching. With a focus on your future, we’ll also encourage you to complete a placement year in industry to develop your practical and theoretical knowledge, adding ‘with Professional Experience’ to your degree award.Features? 為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants with a graduation certificate from a specialised college or school (zhongzhuan) with a final grade of 60% or above will be considered for the International Foundation Year. Applicants who have completed the huikao (senior secondary school) with a final grade of 60% or above will also be considered. Applicants who have completed three full years of high school and hold a senior secondary school graduation certificate with an overall minimum grade of 60% will be considered for undergraduate study. Applicants who hold a dazhaun qualification with a score of 60% or above will be considered for advanced entry on relevant undergraduate programmes if appropriate modules have been studied. Applicants who have achieved ACC/BCC/BC in graded units on their SQA-HND programme will be considered for final year entry on selected undergraduate business programmes. We require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.
