This distinct BSc (Hons) Interior Architecture degree, offered exclusively by Salford in the North West, is a gateway to a career balancing art and science to design the spaces where we work, rest, learn and play.**The time is right to gain the skills and knowledge to refurbish and reinvent buildings. The densification of our cities and urban environments is driving demand for flexible structures and adaptable, mixed-use environments, but space it at a premium. By combining design skills with technical architectural and engineering competences, intelligent interior architecture can bring vacant buildings back into use and support sustainable urban futures.Led by international experts, Salford is a QS world-ranked centre for architecture studies. Learning takes place in our Peel Park campus, minutes from buzzing Manchester, recently voted the UK’s most liveable city.* You’ll study architectural theory and practice alongside other architecture students, delivered in a collaborative studio environment by leading international teachers and experts.Our three-year BSc Interior Architecture course blends architectural and built environment disciplines to help you explore the making and modification of buildings. Developed to meet the standards recognised by professional design bodies, you’ll explore the total design of a space, looking at ergonomics, structures, materials and connected systems. You’ll develop a design portfolio and gain design skills in hand drawing, model-making and digital design. With a focus on sustainability, you’ll learn about BIM and virtual design methods that are changing the way the built environment is created.By experiencing real-world commercial and community projects, you’ll gain the confidence to be ready for the next stage of your career. You’ll complete multi-disciplinary projects and innovative problem-solving activities alongside other built environment students. Through our strong connections with local architectural practices and engineering firms, you’ll receive external critiques, live briefs and guest lectures. Features? 為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants with a graduation certificate from a specialised college or school (zhongzhuan) with a final grade of 60% or above will be considered for the International Foundation Year. Applicants who have completed the huikao (senior secondary school) with a final grade of 60% or above will also be considered. Applicants who have completed three full years of high school and hold a senior secondary school graduation certificate with an overall minimum grade of 60% will be considered for undergraduate study. Applicants who hold a dazhaun qualification with a score of 60% or above will be considered for advanced entry on relevant undergraduate programmes if appropriate modules have been studied. Applicants who have achieved ACC/BCC/BC in graded units on their SQA-HND programme will be considered for final year entry on selected undergraduate business programmes. We require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.
