Overview
Help us build on LSBU's rich history in engineering, which we've been teaching for over 100 years. This broad-based course will deepen your understanding of core mechanical engineering disciplines, as well as developing the research and business skills demanded by the industry.
We offer sophisticated facilities, including a virtual reality suite and advanced CAD-CAM capability. Laboratories are well equipped for experimentation in solids, solid-mechanics and thermofluids. In addition to structured sessions, you'll be able to take full advantage of our facilities for your major project.
Employability
Our broad-based masters has been designed in accordance with IMechE's guidelines to help you to attain professional awards, including becoming a Chartered Engineer, who typically earn more than their colleagues.
Professional links
The School has a strong culture of research and extensive research links with industry through consultancy works and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships. We're based in central London, providing excellent access to the professional body head-quarters (IMechE) for attending extra-curricular lectures and use of library resources.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To apply for a postgraduate taught course at LSBU you need to have one of the following: three-year Bachelor Degree from a UK institution; four-year Bachelor Degree from a Chinese university with good grades; Postgraduate Diploma from a UK institution with a minimum of 50%; minimum English language requirements are as follows: IELTS 6.5 with all skills at 5.5 or above.
