Overview
This programme is primarily aimed at Diagnostic Radiographers although the individual modules, if studied ‘stand-alone’, are applicable to a wide range of healthcare professionals.
You're able to combine modules from different clinical areas, such as: image interpretation, reporting, or breast imaging, to build a postgraduate portfolio culminating in a research dissertation to complete the Masters.
Assessment
Assessment methods are varied and include:
- Conventional ‘essay-style’ assignment
- Article format, suitable for submission to a peer reviewed journal
- Case-study
- Clinical portfolio
- Dissertation
- Multiple choice/assertion reasoning
- Image evaluation.
Employability
In 2011 the Department of Health identified that the development of advanced practitioners within allied health professional’s (AHP) could result in a significant contribution to high quality clinical care, organisational management, economic sustainability, productivity and all aspects of quality – patient safety, patient experience and the effectiveness of the care that patients receive.
Students can also exit with PGDip or PGCert Awards.

為來自中國的學生設計 To apply for a postgraduate taught course at LSBU you need to have one of the following: three-year Bachelor Degree from a UK institution; four-year Bachelor Degree from a Chinese university with good grades; Postgraduate Diploma from a UK institution with a minimum of 50%; minimum English language requirements are as follows: IELTS 6.5 with all skills at 5.5 or above.
