Children's nurses, in collaboration with other professionals, strive to promote health in children and young people to ensure they enter adulthood in good health. Our state of the art laboratories, set up to simulate hospital ward and critical care environments, are the perfect place to learn, develop and practice your skills.
The course emphasises a vocational approach to teaching, and prepares you for a career in a range of rewarding children's nursing opportunities across primary care, specialist and intensive care children's units. It will develop your abilities as a student nurse to consider the wider aspects influencing children's health needs, preparing you for future leadership in an ever-changing health care system.
Your tutor will support you to get the most of your time at LSBU, providing advice and signposting to other sources of support in the University. They should be the first person at the university that you speak to if you are having any difficulties that are affecting your work. These could be academic, financial, health-related or another type of problem.

為來自中國的學生設計 To apply for an undergraduate course at LSBU you need to have one of the following: Senior High School Graduation Certificate with a minimum of 70-80% (course specific requirements may apply); Chinese University / College Entrance Examination ('Gaokao') with a minimum of 350-400 in relevant subjects; Vocational College Diploma ('Gaozhi') diploma with average marks of 70% minimum; suitable UK Foundation course with a minimum of 60%; minimum English language requirements are as follows: IELTS 6.0 with all skills at 5.5 or above.
