在這里學(xué)什么？ This degree explores the human capacity for language from the perspectives of how language works and is structured as a system (linguistics), and how it is used as an expressive tool by writers, including poets, novelists and dramatists (literature).You will engage in contemporary debates about language and have the chance to explore a variety of topics from women’s writing and feminist theory to language use and the psychology and philosophy of language.The degree will teach you transferable skills in research methods and text analysis, critical thinking and communication. You will also have the opportunity to spend a year abroad at a partner university and to gain professional work experience with local community projects and organisations.There is the opportunity to spend your third year abroad as part of the Erasmus programme.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students require a National College Entrance Examination (NCEE / Gaokao) with a minimum score of 75% overall and 75% in any required subjects. Please note, courses with higher entry requirements may ask for a minimum score of 80% overall.Students taking the Huikao (Senior Secondary School Certificate) will need to take and successfully complete an international foundation year or equivalent. Minimum English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 (min 5.5 in all components).
