在這里學(xué)什么？ This degree develops your understanding of language as a social and a psychological phenomenon. The wide range of option modules allow for a number of degree pathways.You may choose a theoretical route with options that deepen your understanding of your two subject areas; or should you have a more creative edge, you might tailor your degree by taking more practice-based modules, such as journalism or creative writing.The English language strand of the degree provides you with an understanding of the fundamentals of English and its historical development, examining how language shapes society and society shapes language.The linguistics strand encourages you to explore language from a scientific perspective and will introduce you to the main subdisciplines within the field.There is the opportunity to spend your third year abroad as part of the Erasmus programme.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students require a National College Entrance Examination (NCEE / Gaokao) with a minimum score of 75% overall and 75% in any required subjects. Please note, courses with higher entry requirements may ask for a minimum score of 80% overall.Students taking the Huikao (Senior Secondary School Certificate) will need to take and successfully complete an international foundation year or equivalent. Minimum English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 (min 5.5 in all components).
