在這里學(xué)什么?
The College of Arts and Letters engages in research and scholarship at the intersection of science, technology, arts, and humanities.
Our goal is to inspire everyone at Stevens—the musicians and artists, the engineers and technologists, the entrepreneurs and scientists—to make positive, long-lasting impacts on society and the world.
The B.A. in Science Communication from Stevens Institute of Technology teaches students to convey information about science, technology and medicine to experts and non-experts in the public, private and non-profit sectors, using a wide variety of media from newspapers and blogs to radio and television. Students will learn processes for data gathering, interviewing, reporting, storytelling and clear presentation of complex information. Science communication majors and minors will benefit from learning their craft at Stevens, one of the world's leading research institutions.
The curriculum of the B.A. in science communication begins with foundational courses in the history and social study of science, technology, and engineering. Students will move on to advanced courses that will increase their knowledge of specific scientific fields and assist in developing and refining their skills in research, writing and communication.
