This course provides you with the opportunity to extend your undergraduate degree and develop your expertise in a particular area of Geography. You will have the chance to specialise in an area of particular interest to you and consolidate your skills in preparation for positions in research development or technology management. "Geography at Lincoln represents one of the most significant investments in UK university Geography for a generation" Dr Rita Gardner CBE, Director of the Royal Geographical Society. The MSc by Research involves writing a Master's thesis under the supervision of a member of academic staff on a topic to be agreed with your supervisor. The MSc by Research is usually awarded based on the quality of your thesis and your ability in an oral examination (viva voce) to present and successfully defend your chosen research topic. 為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Prospective students require one of the following qualifications: A Chinese degree from a recognised institution with a minimum average grade of 70% (GPA 2.5), some programmes may require 80% or a GPA 3.0; Successful completion of a UK Bachelor degree with a minimum grade of 2:2. Students need to have an IELTS score of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score). Some courses require a higher IELTS score.
