This programme is designed to develop the research and critical-thinking skills that can benefit you in your future career. Researchers and Academics in the School of Health and Social Care have extensive practical experience and professional links across the health and social care sectors. The School maintains close industry links to ensure that teaching is informed by the latest developments in practice and policy. As a researcher in the School, you have the opportunity to take part in a structured programme of training designed to develop the research and critical-thinking skills that can benefit you in your future career. You will be supported by an interdisciplinary team of supervisors made up of experienced academics and practitioners from across the College of Social Science. Career and Personal Development: Postgraduate research can be seen as an apprenticeship in academia and an important qualification for academic research and teaching. Graduates may progress on to further study or to careers in health and social care-related industries.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Prospective students require one of the following qualifications: A Chinese degree from a recognised institution with a minimum average grade of 70% (GPA 2.5), some programmes may require 80% or a GPA 3.0; Successful completion of a UK Bachelor degree with a minimum grade of 2:2. Students need to have an IELTS score of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score). Some courses require a higher IELTS score.
