專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么? Politics and sociology are both important disciplines which, through the study of different modes of social and political life, offer insight into the diverse and different groups and structures that make up society. At the forefront of contemporary social debates, BA (Hons) Politics and Sociology aims to engage students with emerging key themes relevant to both disciplines. In utilizing the staff expertise, this degree will engage in research led teaching, in order to provide students with insight to innovative academic theories and practices. The specialist modules taught are designed to advance students’ discipline specific knowledge and also help them develop a range of cognitive and practical skills; therefore this programme is not only designed to develop a student’s specialist knowledge of politics and sociology, but will equip students with a set of transferable skills relevant to further academic study and employment.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Prospective students require one of the following qualifications for entry into year one of an undergraduate degree: Successful completion of a Foundation programme with a minimum of 50% plus an average of 70% or above in High School. Some programmes may require a higher foundation score e.g. 60%; Successful completion of the first year of a Chinese degree / Diploma with an average grade of 70% or above. Students who have successfully completed a HND BTEC or SQA qualification may be accepted directly into year two or three of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course on a case by case basis. Students who have successfully completed the second or third year of a Chinese Degree or Diploma may be considered for direct entry into year two or three of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course on a case by case basis. Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into year 2 or 3 of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course. Students need to have an IELTS score of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score). Some courses require a higher IELTS score.
