專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么? This multidisciplinary programme integrates theoretical and practical knowledge of physical education and sport. It offers the opportunity to develop the skills and understanding required to work in the education and sport sector. Our programme has been developed in response to this and to the need for young people to have access to high-quality physical education and sport provision. The degree has been designed for those who have a desire to work with young people in schools or youth sport settings. Students have the opportunity to develop their teaching abilities, knowledge and experience of curriculum activities. Engagement in real-world experience is integral to this programme and students have opportunities to conduct research in schools and sport environments within the local community. A key aim of the degree is to prepare students for life beyond graduation and to provide a sound basis for undertaking a postgraduate teaching qualification or wider employment within schools and youth sport settings.
