專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ This combined course aims to provide students with the skills to teach the next generation about the wonders of chemistry. The Chemistry with Education programme allows students to gain a fundamental grounding in chemistry along with the intellectual and research skills needed for a career in teaching. The course has been developed in collaboration with the School of Education, which works closely with both primary and secondary schools. They have developed a curriculum and mode of teaching that is in line with employer expectations. As part of the programme students will undertake teaching placements with local schools. Students are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and general living costs when on placement. The course is designed to encourage a collaborative approach with students engaging with one another, academics and teachers. This can support critical reading, debate, reflection on experience and research into topics of interest.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Prospective students require one of the following qualifications for entry into year one of an undergraduate degree: Successful completion of a Foundation programme with a minimum of 50% plus an average of 70% or above in High School. Some programmes may require a higher foundation score e.g. 60%; Successful completion of the first year of a Chinese degree / Diploma with an average grade of 70% or above. Students who have successfully completed a HND BTEC or SQA qualification may be accepted directly into year two or three of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course on a case by case basis. Students who have successfully completed the second or third year of a Chinese Degree or Diploma may be considered for direct entry into year two or three of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course on a case by case basis. Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into year 2 or 3 of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course. Students need to have an IELTS score of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score). Some courses require a higher IELTS score.
