Overview
Our taught Master's in Special Needs and Inclusion will help you gain the necessary understanding, from a theoretical point of view, to become a more effective practitioner in the whole-of-life, special needs sector. The course is delivered through a selection of focussed taught modules alongside essays, reports, case studies and finally, a dissertation on your particular area of interest. Teaching is delivered by a passionate team who are personally invested in the subject, and supported by a strong postgraduate community of peers.
The MA Special Needs and Inclusion is a distinct course designed for international and UK students. This course meets the growing need for professionals to have the skills and theoretical understanding necessary to work in different fields and across the life span.
Your future career
After the successful completion of the course, you may wish to continue onto a doctorate in this area.
Past students have gone into career areas such as SENCO/Inclusion Management, outdoor learning, health, social care, criminal justice, voluntary sector, and businesses providing specialist special educational needs services.
