Overview
Our Master's in Education course is a dynamic and flexible way of pursuing your passion for education through academia.
Available full or part-time, it can fit around your circumstances as a practising education professional, or be undertaken during a career break. Through taught modules and your own research, you will study a variety of important, contemporary themes in education across the profession. There is also the option of gaining specialists postgraduate certificates within the Master's, and you will benefit from an active postgraduate community during your studies.
Our Masters in Education encourages and supports rigorous and critical professional development that can have significant impact on all learners’ outcomes and organisational change. It has flexible modules to enable you to explore your interests and concerns relevant to your professional context. As well as the generic course, there are a number of specialist Postgraduate Certificates that can be studied separately or incorporated into the main course, along with a specialist route for those involved in higher education.

Your promotion prospects and performance at interview are enhanced not only by the Master’s qualification itself but also by discussing interesting and valuable research in progress and by showing confidence in understanding contemporary issues in education.
We have a wide network of alumni who may continue with postgraduate study on our popular EdD course or a PhD, contribute to Masters courses as associate staff and offer expert support to colleagues engaging in Masters study and school-based research. Many are involved in mentoring and coaching in professional settings and may progress into new senior leadership roles.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Bachelor degree (Xueshi); For programmes requiring a 2:1 : A minimum final grade of 75% or equivalent; A minimum final grade of 70% or equivalent from one of the 211 universities. For programmes requiring a 2:2: A minimum final grade of 70% or equivalent; A minimum final grade of 65% or equivalent from one of the 211 universities. For postgraduate entry all applicants will need a minimum of IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in writing and no less than 5.5 in all other bands or equivalent.
