在這里學(xué)什么？ The International Foundation Year (IFY) is designed for students whose first language is not English. The IFY will prepare you for both your English language level for entry and also for content knowledge you will need to begin the BA/BSc course. Once you have successfully completed the IFY, you are guaranteed a place onto the first year of your chosen undergraduate degree course at the University.Investigate the ways in which social life is organised, structured and experienced. Be inspired by an engaging sociology degree that is supported by interactive teaching and committed tutors. This transformative course will help you understand the social world and your place in it. The foundation year will develop your skills in critical thought and analysis, working as part of a team, networking, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Alongside taught modules, you will have the chance to engage in research. Opportunities to work with stakeholders, undertake work shadowing, and volunteer in the community will widen your understanding of the world and enable you to gain practical experience which directly translates into employable skills.
