在這里學什么？ A number of our degrees are also offered with an additional foundation year (Year 0). Whether you are a school-leaver or someone considering returning to study but don’t have the entry requirements for your chosen subject, a foundation year course may be just what you’re looking for.A foundation year is the first year of a four year programme which:?provides an introduction not only to study at University but also to your chosen subject?offers you a highly supportive environment where you can develop the self-confidence, knowledge, skills and understanding for further study.Innovative new products and improvements to existing ones happen continuously. Within this course you’ll use existing technologies to create new solutions. You will learn to solve complex problems, research, develop and prototype your ideas into reality to produce engineered working solutions that can be manufactured. You will also work with product designers, enabling you to use your creativity to make it look great. Our foundation year option enables you to join the BEng Product Design Engineering course. It will prepare you if you are changing careers or require additional subject knowledge before studying at degree level and working in this exciting area.Our course has been designed in collaboration with industry and you’ll have excellent opportunities to develop professional engineering practice and work with a range of employers, so that you become an effective, industry-ready engineer.
