在這里學(xué)什么？ A number of our degrees are also offered with an additional foundation year (Year 0). Whether you are a school-leaver or someone considering returning to study but don’t have the entry requirements for your chosen subject, a foundation year course may be just what you’re looking for.A foundation year is the first year of a four year programme which:?provides an introduction not only to study at University but also to your chosen subject?offers you a highly supportive environment where you can develop the self-confidence, knowledge, skills and understanding for further study.Our foundation year enables you to enter our BSc Physical Education and Sport & Exercise Science course even if you don’t have the formal qualifications or experience to meet the entry requirements. This course is perfect for those who want to get a wider view of physical education and the science behind it. Of course, there’s plenty of focus on the theory and practical aspects of physical education, but you will also examine the scientific disciplines behind it. These include physiology, psychology, biometrics and sociology. You can choose a work experience setting that interests you and will have the chance to use advanced sports labs through which you’ll be able to conduct performance-related experiments and put theory into practice.
