在這里學(xué)什么？ A number of our degrees are also offered with an additional foundation year (Year 0). Whether you are a school-leaver or someone considering returning to study but don’t have the entry requirements for your chosen subject, a foundation year course may be just what you’re looking for.A foundation year is the first year of a four year programme which:?provides an introduction not only to study at University but also to your chosen subject?offers you a highly supportive environment where you can develop the self-confidence, knowledge, skills and understanding for further study.A foundation year helps you develop the study skills and self-confidence needed for higher education when you don’t reach the entry requirements for your subject. Our Film Production course will provide you with the mix of technical, production and business skills you need to work in the creative industries. You’ll use digital cameras, including Canon, Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro and Arri Amira. You’ll gain skills in the use of 16mm film. Post-production facilities include Avid Media Composer. You’ll have access to pro-tools and the full Adobe Creative Suite. Regular visits from working professionals offer up-to-the-minute insights into the industry.
