And Canterbury Christ Church University offers one of the widest selection of combined honours degrees in the UK.**Early Childhood Studies**The development and growth of children in their early years is extraordinary as they go from babies, completely dependent on care, to children able to act for themselves. This course allows you to explore this exciting period of life, looking at childhood from the perspectives of psychology, education and health, through to law and science. As well as placement opportunities, there is the chance to go on trips and study cultural differences in early childhood development. Whilst this course runs as a singe honours degree, you have the flexibility to combine it with another subject.**Sport & Exercise Science**Explore the science behind sports performance and physical activity under the guidance of a dynamic team of research-active staff. You will study a range of topics, all with an emphasis on real-life application. Choose from pathways in sport and exercise sciences, competitive sport performance or exercise and health outcomes. Our labs give you the opportunity to measure and assess physical activity in athletes. You can also gain experience in our consultancy service, SportsLab, using your knowledge to help athletes improve their performance.
