在這里學什么？ A number of our degrees are also offered with an additional foundation year (Year 0). Whether you are a school-leaver or someone considering returning to study but don’t have the entry requirements for your chosen subject, a foundation year course may be just what you’re looking for.A foundation year is the first year of a four year programme which:?provides an introduction not only to study at University but also to your chosen subject?offers you a highly supportive environment where you can develop the self-confidence, knowledge, skills and understanding for further study.This course is perfect if you already work with young children but have a thirst for knowledge in the subject of early childhood education and care. It will enable you to learn, gain a qualification and maintain your work alongside study. You’ll explore a variety of factors affecting childhood from different perspectives – including leadership, teaching, social action and parental input – and put these into practice through work-based learning. Taught by a team, including award-winning practitioners who are invested in and passionate about childcare, you will have the option of taking our BA Top-up and gaining a full honours degree in Early Childhood Education and Care.
