Whether you are a school-leaver or someone considering returning to study but don’t have the entry requirements for your chosen subject, a foundation year course may be just what you’re looking for.A foundation year is the first year of a four year programme which:?provides an introduction not only to study at University but also to your chosen subject?offers you a highly supportive environment where you can develop the self-confidence, knowledge, skills and understanding for further study.Gain a thorough understanding of accounting and take the first step into higher education with our Accounting with Foundation Year course. Accounting is at the heart of all business decisions and encompasses a vast range of careers, from traditional auditing to global management consulting. Our Business foundation year will help you take your first step into higher education, broadening your industry knowledge and enabling you to progress to a related undergraduate degree. It aims to help you develop a strong foundation of business knowledge, alongside academic and transferable skills, to ensure you get the most out of your degree-level studies. Christ Church Business School has strong professional links and offers great work experience opportunities to help prepare you for the future. Guest speakers are regularly invited to share their knowledge with our students, and our ‘Business Futures’ weeks offer you the chance to connect with businesses.
