About this course
Examining the role security and policing play in fighting terrorism.
This **** distance learning programme is delivered in partnership KNECT365/Informa.
- Provides distance learning programmes in Terrorism, Policing and Security studies for full-time employees
- Produces competent, informed reflectively and ethically competent students who have a developed academic understanding the key issues within Terrorism, Policing and Security Studies and the theories which underpin these disciplines
- Enables students to investigate and research key issues within Terrorism, Policing and Security Studies from academic, strategic and operational perspectives.
This cutting-edge Masters aims to offer an unrivalled insight into the current debates and controversies around the subjects of terrorism, policing and security. It will introduce students to emerging paradigms within security studies, policing and terrorism studies at both local and global levels.
The curriculum is designed to be reactive to the latest issues in policing, delivered to include input from experienced practitioners at the most senior levels as well as by publishing academics who are researching in the field.
The programme is taught by distance learning and aims to connect a diverse body of domestic and international students, across time zones, to share knowledge and develop expertise in the field.
