The LLM Legal Practice qualification will enhance your legal research skills and legal knowledge in a particular area of practice law.
Following successful completion of the Legal Practice Course (LPC) Part 1 and Part 2 units, which lead to the qualification of a PG Diploma in Legal Practice, a legal research dissertation may be undertaken in a relevant area of legal practice interest. The dissertation will focus on an area of legal practice studied during the Legal Practice Course, and depending on the availability of appropriate supervisory staff. Successful completion leads to the award of LLM Legal Practice.
How you will be assessed
You will be assessed by coursework culminating in your final year research project, and you will also undertake group work and written exams. The assessment methods for each unit can be found in the programme specification for your course.
