在這里學什么？ Accredited by the Nursing & Midwifery Council, this BSc (Hons) degree is an ideal choice for those looking to gain the theoretical and professional skills needed to enter the mental health profession.You’ll learn how to enable, educate, and encourage those experiencing mental health problems to progress towards recovery, and as practical experience forms a central role of the course, you’ll have many opportunities to work in various health care environments. Practical experience takes a central role in the course, with 50% of your time being spent on placement in a variety of healthcare environments across the south. All of the practice placements on the mental health nursing course are undertaken in mental health settings which are as diverse as our client group. This will give you a rounded experience of nursing to fulfil the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).**Funding support**: Nursing students may be eligible for a non-repayable government training grant of at least ￡5,000 a year and mental health nursing students may also be eligible for an additional ￡1,000 specialist subject payment as it has been confirmed as a shortage specialism.
