If you’re motivated to solve the engineering challenges of the 21st century, our Master of Science in Civil Engineering degree program can teach you the problem-solving skills and technical knowledge expected of today’s industry leaders.
Having a master’s degree in civil engineering improves your employment prospects and your potential wage earnings. It is commonly considered a necessary step in getting licensed as a professional engineer.
A sample of the research being done by faculty and students includes: computational mechanics, sustainable design and construction, river restoration, membrane processes for environmental treatment, and precision composite structures. Area of Emphasis - Construction Engineering and Management
Course Requirements: 32 credits total – 24 credits coursework, 2 credits of graduate seminar, and minimum 6 credits of thesis.

Minimum of a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on a U.S. 4.0 scale or comparable grade point average in upper-division (junior and senior level) university course work and in any graduate work already completed. TOEFL (internet-based) 79, TOEFL (paper-based) 550, IELTS 6.5, Pearson Test of English 53.
