The Health Education program offers courses of study to prepare Health Education specialists at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Students are prepared to assume Health Education positions in schools, community, public health agencies, and in health care and worksite settings. The national guidelines delineating the Roles and Responsibilities of Health Education Specialists serve as the basis for the course of studies at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, special attention is given to preparing students to work within multi-cultural, multi-ethnic communities in ways that respect and support the healthy development of families and individuals within those communities.
Career Opportunities:
A program that prepares individuals to teach health education programs at various educational levels.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Secondary Education: Completion of the equivalent of an American upper secondary school education (approximately twelve years of formal education beginning at age six) and have the appropriate diplomas or satisfactory results on leaving examinations (if completed). Academic Preparation: Strong academic preparation or a U.S. equivalent grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (for freshman applicants) or 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (for transfer students with the equivalent of 24 college credit hours). TOEFL (internet-based) 68, TOEFL (paper-based) 520, IELTS 6.0, Pearson Test of English 47.
